I'm actually working on an NFT called "Frank Ocean didn't show up." It's a picture of an empty stage and costs 14 million dollars.
"It’s anyone’s guess whether that Frank Ocean performance will actually happen next year" indeed, I am taking bets
pleaseeee let this indicate a new Jamie xx album, gosh I want that so fucking much
in 08 I saw mgmt, vampire weekend, m.i.a., Metallica, battles, my morning jacket, Sigur Ros, bb king, and Kanye at 4 a.m. probably only primavera puts together lineups nowadays that touch those mid-late aughts bonnaroos.
"We already know Frank Ocean will instead headline in 2023" well, we've certainly been led to believe that will happen...
I think Sufjan's list of least favorite albums 2021 is my late-breaking favorite album of 2021.
"9. Musicals—Please stop singing and dancing. F-" Thank you so much for saying this, Sufjan.
The gays are mobilizing and drafting plans to eliminate Omicron.
coke how was the lcd show?
The bridge of New Romance might be my favorite beach house moment ever.
Another Dumb Music Lawsuit (Taylor’s Version)
half way through it's already one of their best
I really like Jonah performances where he does a lot of drugs so this should work.
If there's an Oprah interview it should be treated like a State of the Union or inauguration, just wall to wall coverage on every network.
sorry about your divorce, Rachel, but you write really well on the subject! excellent review
damn, she was and is good
what is Biden doing to get this out by christmas
give Depression Cherry another shot! some dark currents in their
I don’t think covid has the power to move anniversaries. It’s not like The Beatles had to delay any 50th anniversary shows.
Wasn’t the 50th anniversary of this album 18 months ago?
Yeah it's m.o.r. but to me the vocal melodies are more interesting than, like, "Hello." If we can't get a drum n bass album, I'll take an album with some more movement to her vocals, not just big belted choruses (though we've got that too).
Dave Grohl seeing Paul McCartney: "I had never even seen a shooting star before. 25 years of rotations, passes through comets' paths, and travel, and to my memory I had never witnessed burning debris scratch across the night sky."
"Blurred Lines" dominance in 2013 remains such an embarrassment for the culture.
it'd be so cool if one of the best singers in the world released fun, exciting music. fingers crossed.
that Trinidad tweet is special and a good example of how twitter is sometimes fun
I think Dacus is a better songwriter and has a stunning voice, while Baker is really talented instrumentally. Bridgers has a pretty voice and vibes I guess.
I hope more people come to terms with the fact that Phoebe Bridgers's music is boring.
This could put my "Dearest Leader: The Life and Times of President Xi Jinping" fan club into a tricky position.
Van Morrison is going to release a devastating diss track called like "Unfollow Neil Young's Social Media Pages."
only way to up the ante from here is to bring out OJ Simpson next time
I think so. I remember Taylor performing Shake It Off during some Lover roll out appearances (and Lover is excellent).
She's right, the early 00s seem so far away. like the Taliban still controlled Afghanistan back then.
It is strange that anyone would label her as in "Jack's stable" at this point. For all the sonic flourishes on Melodrama that you might hear Jack's other producing, I don't think anyone but Lorde could've made that album. She's clearly in charge of and following her vision, and has been for a while. Same goes for Lana, Taylor, etc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niO_nFMJt-E So bummed I'll never hear the official version of this
