WHAT'S BROWN AND RHYMES WITH SNOOP? DR DRE
Seriously look at that face http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/dc9/SpencerKrug-Moonface.jpg
I can't believe Spencer Krug didn't make it
Man, Divine Fits are awesome. I'd vote for them twice if I could.
PSY should totally be #1, and I have the feeling that everyone knows it, but just doesn't want to say it. Regardless of your thoughts on the song, no other music video has ever been so popular, and with good reason.
Sometimes I come to this site just for heartwarming commenting stories like thomasbrownester's. Other times I come here for other things.
Are you offering to the writers, or the whole community? I'm asking for a friend.
It's cheap fun pop music. Meant to be taken in with copious amounts of alcohol and good friends, maybe some dancing. There's a time and a place for all genres, and pop's is for when you want some fun music that doesn't try to be anything more than it is. BRB gonna blast some Black Eyed Peas because I'm so two thousand and late
Here's mine, compiled with love, care, and self-importance: 1. Divine Fits - A Thing Called Divine Fits 2. Moonface/Siinai - Heartbreaking Bravery 3. Dinosaur Jr - I Bet on Sky 4. Bloc Party - Four 5. Sawagi - Punch Games 6. Pomegranates - Heaven 7. Japandroids - Celebration Rock 8. School of Seven Bells - Ghostory 9. Smashing Pumpkins - Oceania 10. The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends
Man, between these well thought out articles and the weekly comment popularity contest, this site just makes me happy. Also the giveaways, if for nothing else than the fleeting feeling of any of this having real-world significance.
Not that I don't love my skeleton, I'm just all like "Woah you're still here? Cool man."
Sometimes I forget that there's a whole skeleton inside of me, and when I remember I get a little freaked out.
I disagree with lots of things here!
The White Album, because it's the other side of the 'none more black' coin. Yin-yang, and whatever.
It's pretty tasteless for sure, but I'm curious about the end result of all this. Death Grips just got tons of publicity, more than Epic would have gotten them, and probably more than a little underdog/fuck the man street cred to those who want to believe it. But they're not getting paid for this record, and might get sued? I don't know much about legal stuff. Similar to Radiohead giving away In Rainbows, I'd love to see the numbers behind this, because I'm a nerd like that. I bet this is an overall positive for Death Grips though.
Thanks for believing in me!

I don't know how images work, but if someone could post Adventure Time's Lumpy Space Princess saying DRAMA BOMB that would be great.
This story excites me in a silly "yeah! fight the power!" kind of way. I don't even like Death Grips, but this is some good stuff, regardless of who's in the wrong.
Stop promoting your blog here, silly ;)
I don't have anywhere to sensibly put this: Diplo? More like Duplo, because he is a BUILDING BLOCK of a solid album, am I right?
As a fan of all things even tangentially related to Wolf Parade, I feel like Moonface+Siinai could be on this list as well. Sure it's two acts that are a year or two old, but together they're something new, strange and amazing. On topic though, Divine Fits made the best album of 2012 hands down.
sometimes i just don't know why i comment here
Finally, I can take my love of Beck's music, and put it with my love of practicing an instrument I can't play to learn songs I can't hear!
Song 2. I'll be that guy.
someone on Slow Nerve Action, a Lips fansite, said that legal redtape was to blame for chris martin not being allowed on the wide release. which sucks because Tasered and Maced sucks.
