that vocoder made me giggle all excited :-)
I just realised how much crap I can let out without getting a downvote! for example I can start my comment with something completely else than what I think of the list fuckers! I like this list - I have listened more to heroes than low, so maybe I would switch those two, but there's is just a damn high amount of good albums in his disocgraphy!
Angles took me by surprise (in a good way) and this takes me by an even bigger surprise!
I downvoted you... but I kind of wanted to upvote you for trusting your first impression that well
apparently people disagree with us
The amount of great songs in this discography is too damn high!!!!
Definitely needs Bukowski and Dramamine... and Float On for just being a too damn good radiohit!
I would like to swap The Moon and Antartica with Good News... I don't know if it's because i discovered them with Good News and then moved backward (and forward when We were dead - lots of great songs, but as mentioned above it's not so consistent all the way through). I love the fact that Good News is so diverse, and still they are capable of writing really fucking great songs in all diferent types of styles. The Moon is a little dull for me. It's a long record, and they don't really shake things up through it. Still I love The stars are Projectors - and all their records are really great. But I find The Moon down somewhere along We Were Dead 1,2,3 FLAME!
I have heard nothing but terrible reviews of The Stone Roses live!
Fuck you for not blindly liking my heroes!
I actually liked that song - but I'm also extremely sensible for older men tearing out their feelings (and all those fake strings... damn they sound great!)
Nick Olivieri should join too! That would be amazing!
You had to buy a dylan album to get it... that's how a recordsalesman should be :-) That album definitely made me feel cool about not sharing most of my friends' music taste! but nowadays I really have to be in the mood for that much grandiosity! I still think it's a fantastic record, but it's a huge bite to swallow!
Get some decent speakers or headphones - this is not music that works on laptop speakers... I believe that's a mistake by the majority of AnCo haters (well not really haters but the I-just-don't-understand-this people)
I imagine most bosses don't care whether you look at cookie recipes or naked ladies when you're supposed to be working... maybe that's just because I'm European.
Now that I think of it Not Safe For Work is a weird term to describe some sort of nudity! Anything not work related shouldn't be Safe For Work, not just nudity! I think it would be better if it meant Not Safe For Wives
That cover is not NSFW - that's just pretty! Why is everything involving the least amount of skin thought to be not safe for work?
You sir, are right! ...except I think - in Denmark, at least - more people stream it than download it! I am one of a select few in my social networks that DO buy music, but I care more for music than most of my friends - they rather stream. Dads do, however, buy CD's because their cars won't play that old LP edition of Dark Side of the Moon they have from when it was made... and they wouldn't know how to download it, either.
Unless you count the B-sides and Rarities as an album (or the into the night ep) you're right... busiest band alive, who still are capable of maintaing such a high quality level in their output! Love them <3
I was getting nausea from watching this! hyped nonetheless
Robert Smith's Crazy little brother!! ...Damn I'm looking forward too see him on this Summer's Roskilde Festival!
I just hope it isn't as dull as Takk... that was just too much! I like their other recordings though, they sometimes slapped you (in a very slowly and orgasm-like way) in the face, so that you could keep some kind of focus in the lovely trance they had put you in.
I constantly check in on this to see what Simon Chapman's votes are.
can someone make a gif like the skrillex bee, with his headbangin from 1:33 to 1:36? ...just wishful thinking
I don't know about that... one of the thing I loved about her, was that extremely hazy sound with way too much reverb for most people ....with that said, I don't think this is a bad track, but on the other side it's definitely not Best Coast at their best
I have an Icelandic friend who translated a few of their texts... it was about elfs and jumping in water
Can't help feeling they are a tiny bit pretentious when they make up their own language, so that people would count more on the music, and you are already singing in Icelandic?! (and now you say they aren't that popular in Iceland - how many people were they worrying would listen too much to their lyrics?!!?) ...but I said they sound like Iceland LOOKS not like Icelandic music - and I know how Iceland looks. bottom line Sigur Rós is rad
not really - but I think it helps listening to The Cure and think "they don't make me sad enough" ..but I believe their music sounds like Iceland looks
They always make me want to drink beer and play soccer in the park
that wasn't so bad - everybody go fuck yourself instead of your keyboards!
you once again failed to see the difference between dubstep and brostep
I read the headline and thought "now why would you do that?" I read the article and thought the same.
I can't really figure out if I like that they sing the misinterpretation of "everybody's got one" that is "everybody smoke pot" ...anyways it was a pretty bad cover if you ask me
holy fucking satan! - it seems like half of you readers in here just want to hear the original album again! The funny thing with a cover is that it's often tipped around and put in a completely different context - just take it for a fresh take on a completely garage rocking band!
To me, this looked like the performance that they've enjoyed the most since the album was out - maybe there's a good mood in the studio :-)
Being a Juggalo is more than just some "out of place family", it's about being stupid as fuck and not givin a shit about your dignity! ...just sayin'
I thought the album was great! ...but I do agree with you on some points. I think it has the really really great songs, but it's lacking a bit in excitement from the band, and I think that Valensi is right, when he says they have a better album in them... even though I still think this album is really great, but I also had the feeling sometimes, when I heard it, that they are still capable of making another album in the same class as is this it!
