Since it's 9/11 I think it'll be Simon & another all-star crew doing The Boxer like he did on the first SNL after it happened. I think he and Garfunkel did it on Letterman a few years later on the anniversary as well
anytime anyone says "it's not because of the money," it gives me airtight certainty that they really, truly aren't pissed about money, in ANY of the ways. congrats on being post-materialism, Neil!!!
We could blame arena country culture, we could blame his lyrical glorification of drinking, or we could just say people obviously need to be poisonously drunk to deal with being at a Kenny Chesney concert.
It's a really good album, but the songs are just a liiiiiittle too same-y sounding I think. Nothing that would ruin the listening experience, but I think it's really going as far with "cohesive sounding" as it can before it tiptoes over the line to "slightly monotonous." Or maybe monochromatic, if you feel like monotonous is too negative. It's hard to really diss it cuz it's still good in so many ways...I might just have a hard-on for Age of Adz coloring my perception of this one.
P-Mac is my #1 musical god/spirit animal/weed icon/mullet enthusiast/'70s facial hair stunter,
but this is garbage in a million ways like a garbage diamond with light shining thru it and refracting into garbage beams.
