this has been a problem for years now -- anyone know why people who know the industry and the machines and have money or know people with the money just haven't opened new pressing plants?
my list of least faves would have one item: emails from the sound of vinyl imploring me week after week after week to buy the 2 perfect albums for me: tom petty's full moon fever and maroon 5's songs about jane
i thought the same about TBH+C live, despite loving the album, but once i saw them live, i stood corrected -- those songs sound fantastic live. they open up but lose nothing of the magic from the album
hell yes, didn't know MGMT were prepping a new one; LDA ruled. isn't queens of the stone age working on another one?
also, of Montreal's next one is in the 'finishing touches' phase per their Patreon account
and please, for the love of dr. mattt destruction, please let The Hives release a new LP!
i just find it OK overall, where everything that came before it was bulletproof. are there really only like 5-6 songs that i enjoy only well enough on a 19 song Parcels album? how can that be??
working men's club! all my favorite songs! the eternal tao 2.0! half a human! sinking feeling! pink lunettes! days! billy goodbye! PARCELS - COMING =BACK!!!
well for anyone not as tall as you apparently are, or for anyone who simply considers the other people trying to see the stage and not your glowing phone for 2 hours, it can ruin entire shows. but screw those people, right? i want to be able to see/hear the grainy, blown out, jumpy, vertically-oriented footage sometime in 2026.
i wonder if it's the whole thing or an edit, though i hope they go with the original version. i get the love for the dub freakout at the end of the (essentially remix) version made it to the album and it was a bold choice to do so, but the original version's structure and arrangement just hit so much heavier in those choruses.
