Reeks of Raditutde b-side
At least they chose the only good song on their EP for this.

They are a unique band and the only ones that come to close is probably Fishbone and Faith No More. In fact, I remember as a kid mistaken Faith No More for RHCP. I think their greatness started to fall around By the Wall. Each album after Californication became more mellow. I didnt discover their 80s catalogue till college and was amazed how much energy and they had back then. BSSM is when they became that mainstream alternative band. Everyone isn't familiar with the band always says their a 90s band and even claim that BBSM was their debut. Id say I have a fondness for BBSM and Californication. One Hot Minute was just there...and I only focused on the music videos when it was released cause the songs were so polarizing. But like Weezer, Green Day and Beck, theyre a band thats still in the spotlight and regardless of how mediocre they got, its endearing to know theyre still around.
Only like Threat of Joy. Reminds me of classic Strokes.
can only imagine what this would sound like if it was covered in 2004.
lets not forget about this timeless gem http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lEQ0-j_tEoA/TasGGw084VI/AAAAAAAAC28/kNb-CGtklM0/s1600/E6161_02.jpg
1999. What a polarizing year for new music and new albums. Lit, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Filter, Beck, Sum41, Limp Bizket, Incubus, 311, New Radicals, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Moby, Rage Against the Machine, Korn, NIN, Jimmy Eat World, Stone Temple Pilots, Kid Rock, Blur. Thats what comes to mind when I think of the year.
Our high school graduation ceremony played that shit during our march and everyone was wearing these $300 Oakleys. Class of 99 btw.
I remember swing music in 1994 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiA6u-w0uZc
Looking forward to that hour long video about this from Anthony Fantano.
I just want Josh Homme to perform with them. But....hes busy with Iggy Pop so I understand.
I prefer the Elvis that was portrayed in Vinyl
Oh I get it. He's recreating that obscure shirt from 1995. https://img1.etsystatic.com/065/0/10517112/il_570xN.768255577_badp.jpg
Now this is classic Weezer. Reminds me of "Susanne."
A reason why Im ambivalent of going to their show. At least get That Dog or Nada Surf. Both releasing albums, celebrating anniversaries and reunions. Hell, even the long awaited Green Day / Weezer tour would suffice.
I think Congratulations is their best
I paid $600 to see Rolling Stones in 2013
I'd love to watch a show with Billy Corgan and Noel Gallagher ranting about shit.
Speaking of the Killers. Sam's Town is coming up on its 10th. Just saying.
True, but it doesn't change the fact that everything after Make Believe was shit...with the exception of EWBAITE and that Getting High song they recently released.
fucking horrible. I was on board with their EWBAITE sound, but this is like reverting back to their run of the mill shittacular 00s formula.
Where the fuck is Galvanize?
Cant deny how awesome the Gnarls Barkley albums were though.
I honestly havent listened to these songs since the 90s. As an adult, I can honestly say how embarrassingly amateur this album is. The whole "bitchy woman is going to take this world back" almost sounds like something that came from a 14 year old girls dairy. While lyrics are cringy, I will complement the instrumentation. For some reason One Hand in my Pocket is legitimately my favorite song from her. Something about that booming synthesizer and harmonica breakdown. Like it was recorded in the 80s and released a decade later. But there were way better female artists in 1995. Tori Amos, Bjork, Natalie Merchant, Liz Phair, PJ Harvey, the front women of Garbage, Elastica, Veruca Salt, and That Dog.
You see its that extra little ting. They're not the same.
Looks like Mega64 found their new material for their podcast segment. WILL.I .AM, IDIOT.HE IS.
Are you kidding me? The Editors released an album last year. The Weight of your Love. Check it out, their sound has greatly evolved since 2005.

What else is turning 10? The Bravery - S/T Kaiser Chefs - Employment System of a Down - Mezmerize and Hypnotize Beck - Guero White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan Foo Fighters - In your Honor Moby - Hotel Eels - Blinking Lights and other Revelations Gorillaz - Demon Days Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better Editors - The Back Room Queens of the Stoneage - Lullabies To Paralyze Hard-Fi - Stars of CCTV Weezer - Make Believe (rip this one apart)
Should've been Daft Punk, they need to score a video game soundtrack.
All you need is the first 3 albums cause each has a distinction. After One by One, everything afterwards sounded generic and bland.
Anyone else find it suspicious that right when Noel announces a new album, this band breaks up?
Being associated with FOX News is an integrity crusher.
I think the real question here is why the fuck is Kennedy part of FOX News? That does against everything she use to stand for. All my respect for her went out the window.
