Yup Regina Spektor all your talent and music is no longer needed because a few other artists are doing the same kind of thing. Might as well stop making music right?
Not really sure if I understand your comment because I really liked this song.
I really enjoyed the Beach Boys performance even though that sounded like such a terrible idea on paper. I thought Moves Like Jagger and Pumped Up Kicks was gonna find it's way into the performance.
still... nicki minaj... wat the fuck is that Roman Holiday shit?
Yukimi Nagano for female crush and WIldfire by SBTRKT for song.
I just hope SBTRKT gets something seeing as it's been in heavy rotation since its release pur moi.
I hope this whole album can get some rapper love. I've been listening to it on repeat as it is, and I can only imagine what some of my favorite emcees could do to it. Really like yU but I can't seem to find anything else he's done partially because you don't get many rappers when you google yU.
The Blueprint is still one of my favs to this day. Introduced the rest of the world to Kanye West production and also is one of most lyrically strong albums of the early 2000s.
She's very pretty but I think she's pushing that too hard when she doesn't really have too. I'd like both songs if I had know idea what she looked like. Seems like she's trying to push her looks more than the music but I honestly don't care either way because I'll listen.
why is it frustrating? I don't really get your point because it seems to be buried in your pretentiousness. YHF is a classic and is part of their influences what is wrong with that?
it'd be cool to see some more hip hop related news on here besides jay z and kanye. I feel like shabazz palaces hasn't even been mentioned on here (aside from the comments) and I imagine anyone who listens to Flying Lotus, who's on here a lot, would totally dig.
Stereogum is pretty well rounded for music but it lacks a lot in the hip hop department. There could be something like Haunting the Chapel but for rap.
