Once you reach that third grade level, we’ll throw you a little party bud. Keep at it!
This is so far up my fucking alley duuuuude. I say GOT damn, I love it.
Dude gets in with one of the hottest women in the world and all of a sudden has the confidence to call out a band that never should’ve been taken seriously in the first place? Makes sense actually. If I was dating Megan Fox, I’d be talking shit to absolutely everyone I crossed paths with. Everyone. It would be so much worse than what MGK is doing. That’s the type of shithead I am. Luckily for the rest of the world I’m just an average-in-all-aspects-of-life guy and will never reach the highs that *checks notes* Machine Gun Kelly has reached. *stares into the distance* *sobs uncontrollably*
All that needs to be done to settle some arguments around here is for people to listen to the Skeleton Tree lyrics and have at least third grade comprehension skills.
One hunnit, I keep that old head energy nah talm bout
Personally, I'd love to fight G-Eazy. Someone set this up, please.
Baby Keem, Lil Baby, DaBaby....how 'bout you goo goo ga ga all the way home you fucking muppets, I'm listening to Kool G Rap.
Made it a thrilling ride tbh
Looks like no year-end lists can be finalized until 12.03.21 now...
I skimmed through the album once looking for a "Hold On, We're Going Home" or "Passionfruit" but didn't hear one; any songs I should give a second listen? Seems to me like the whole thing kinda fucking sucks.
Amazing album by an amazing band with an absolute pristine and as-perfect-as-it-gets track record.
"This kinda seems like the kind of reaction Conor would have to a downvote." Nailed it.
Wow, so sorry to hear that, but thank you for sharing this. I've had a few setbacks in my progression towards being "normal" again so I know exactly what that type of physical and emotional drain you're talking about. I've thought about going ahead and doing it anyway because I'm just tired of having to be so careful but hearing things such as this tell me I need to just keep doing what I've been doing to avoid the virus.
I'm also immunocompromised and despite asking my doctor numerous times, she also is advising against the vaccine for me at this point. Plenty of people look at me weird when I tell them I'm not vaccinated and I feel the need to quickly explain why after so they don't think I'm some nut job. Weird times.
What he said is the same as saying "oh, didn't see that coming, did we?" when we obviously did. Not a big deal as far as the comment itself goes, but yes, a very big deal that he's a huge piece of shit and keeps getting away with it.
Love all the lyrics interjected into this piece, well done. Also love the Vol. 3 love; that's easily his most underrated and one I visit most these days outside of RD.
I made my parents take me to the local record store after school to get it, and I remember laying on the couch that night listening to it over and over as we watched the news. The production on The Blueprint is immaculate, it really is a 10/10, but it's still not better than Reasonable Doubt.
Oh yeah, gimmie all of that.
I know it's not true, but in this moment I'm certain this is the most perfect thing I've ever heard and seen. This has encapsulated me and this moment in amber. It's been a rarity in my life that I've had this feeling. She's a treasure and I can't wait to hear this album.
Gonna butt chug this album when it comes out.
Awesome man, really looking forward to diving into this. Congratulations!
I'm an analytical chemist that deals mainly with organic polymers. Most of my experience has been working for a consulting lab that basically problem solved for their clients using chemistry. Over there years we worked for many big name companies to solve their materials problems. It was great because most projects were unique and so it was always a new puzzle to solve, then the business shifted and I ended up being in charge of quality control for some products I have no interest in, and it's become quite monotonous and mundane. Add to that all the toxicity and drama and it was time to go. What do you do?
New Hell is easily one of my most listened to vinyl albums since its release, so new music is very exciting, even though this is quite a different sound.
One of my favorite bands. I could never list their albums in order of my favorite because I truly enjoy all of them so much. Doesn’t get much better than Converge.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Thank you all so much for the well wishes. I’m very thankful to be a part of this community.
This week I turned in my resignation for a job I’ve been at about 9.5 years, the last 3 being extremely toxic and kind of awful all around. Starting a new position analyzing data 100% from home which is something I never thought would be possible for me as a chemist. Also signed on for a new 2 bed/2 bath apartment that I’m excited about. Life has shat on me the last five years, feels good to have a couple things go my way finally.
Bunch of ignorant fucks who started listening to rap in 2016 downvoting this.
The hometown hero in Houston is Scarface. “GOAT” would’ve worked in that instance as well though.
In Houston, “the hometown hero” should bring Scarface to mind, and no one else.
They already have a top 5 AOTY and we're getting another one!? We don't deserve them. So damn good.
Oh my, this album is going to be incredible.
I'm amazed Kanye kept it together as best as he did instead of testing his hands on that big fucking chin.
