I had never seen that before now. Jay Leno is a big piece of shit for that, no doubt.
Kind of funny how this seems to be a line in the sand album for Turnstile. I love their previous albums and can't stand this one so far.
What I'm gathering here is that you are not also a KanyeWestApologist.
8/26 = 31%. That's rough. I didn't pay attention to the names when I was listening but I was thinking it was in the 8-12 range. Someone make the playlist how the album should be k thanks.
There are some songs I would consider to be 'good'. There are also a lot of songs that sound very similar which obviously should've been handled during the editing process. Overall, if I ever want to listen to Kanye (rare these days), I will absolutely put on one of his previous albums, most likely Late Registration or Yeezus.
I like bands that scream who continue to scream. (he types whilst sitting here in his Infinite Granite t-shirt)
Drake and Kanye should drop their albums on the same day and then tickle fight to see who is better. Couple of soft ass bitches.
So when I say "just not for me", I get downvotes. And when I say "fuck this lame, terrible bullshit", I get downvotes. One of these is a lot more fun than the other to me, and now you've asked for it.
Sir. Excuse me. SIR. I CAN and I WILL blame Taylor Swift for any and everything. She is the personification of evil and Satan himself trembles in fear every night thinking of the day that she will descend upon hell.
I made it through song 4 and switched to NIN as well. Just not for me.
The instrumentals are great, because NIN, but that weird inflection thing she does with her voice that is so common in pop music is insufferable. No amount of tiddy is worth this.
I'm very thankful for Griselda, but I cannot stand Westside Gunn, not only because of his weird obsession with one of the worst humans in history, but because his voice is so goddamn fucking annoying and the incessant "brbrbrbrbrrrbbrrrrrbr"s are the worst trademark adlib in the history of rap music this side of Puff Daddy.
I agree that this is extremely boring, and Taylor Swift getting involved with these musicians is 100% the reason.
Good to see The Tiddy Album has lived up to it's full, robust, enticing potential.
That's what the fuck I'm talmbout.
Great comment right until the end. No idea what silly goose would downvote this.
This guys is something else, and that's coming from me who is very clearly something else.
I really enjoyed the Fluisteraars from last year and am pressing play on this one right now. Amazing band.
It's called https://thecircleoffifths.wordpress.com/
Oh shit, didn't realize that Filth is Eternal album was this week. So excited for that one. Also very curious to hear this whole NIN/Halsey titty experiment turned.
Of course. I, along with a few others, came back. What of it? It doesn't change the fact that your original comment was stupid as fuck.
I wasn't insulting you, I was insulting your idiotic statement.
It's funny that you think being right about this is a good thing.
Who gives a flying fuck what pitchfork thinks or what score they give it? Noobs, that’s who.
Objectively, it’s probably New Bermuda, but subjectively, that’s the album I choose on most days.
You’re something else man. It’s okay to change your opinion. I was ready to love it after the PE, and after the first listen I felt some genuine depression because I didn’t feel it, and settling in with the fact that one of my favorite bands put out an album that I was indifferent about was something I wasn’t ready for. Fortunately, after about 10 listens it opened up to me and I see what they were aiming for. It’s still their fourth best album, but being one of of the best bands in the world, fourth best is pretty substantial. Trying to dismiss anyone’s joy with the record as strictly due to MN’s influence is stupid as hell.
I honestly didn’t see it, but as they say, great minds think alike. You and me dansolo, we’re the great minds.
I totally agree. Some ups and downs and mixing the screaming in with the clean vocals instead of it always being the screaming climax would’ve done some wonders.
No it’s absolutely still that. It’s definitely grown on me since then and I do like it now but objectively it’s them trying something new that they’re not nearly as good at.
You know who else is teasing something for Tuesday? Strymon Engineering, and THAT is as exciting as it gets.
I’m pleasantly surprised at how it’s grown on me, but yes, it will sit comfortably fourth in their discography.
It certainly has grown on me with every listen. The sporadic screaming is pretty awesome, just kind of wish there was a bit more of it sprinkled in, but that’s nitpicking and they obviously know what they’re doing. It’s a fantastic achievement; a three act play told with three songs each, sequenced perfectly throughout. I’m glad they’re brave enough to experiment like this. At this point, the next album could be anything, and that’s EXTREMELY exciting.
Really just want to have four comments in a row that are four minutes apart at this point.
Misread it and thought I fucked up, but I had it right. Fuck, it's been a long week man.
