This is going to fuck up so much fall tour routing. No way can they legally enforce their radius clause/play clause against ACL/Primavera LA/any other festivals happening in the fall since they willingly postponed. I imagine the lineup will definitely change especially for smaller bands who are taking a pay cut to play Coachella when they could easily just continue with their club shows in the Fall where they'd make more money. Also, it's lame AF that Ultra isn't offering refunds on the BS reason that the festival is postponed, not canceled. It's a yearly event. It's not happening in 2020. Therefore it is fucking canceled. Coachella, who legitimately postponed, is offering refunds when they technically don't have to since their festival truly was pushed and is happening six months later in the same calendar year. SXSW I can kinda understand since it's technically a trade show and not a traditional festival and a lot of people who buy badges are industry people who go every year.
I've had a few tour announcements that were supposed to go up this month get postponed because they were announcing spring tours with Coachella routing and then announcing fall tours later, and they don't want to announce their spring tour knowing their fall tour will get fucked up.
I was literally having this conversation with a pal because she was wondering if a client she has playing Coachella will be able to play another fest they have booked in the fall because of Coachella's strict radius clause. I don't think they will legally be able to enforce it for certain acts. They can't fuck over another festival that an artist is playing because THEY decided to postpone their festival, and they can't fuck over an artist who made their fall touring plans either. I forsee some artists dropping off. It would be one thing if both festivals were AEG owned but something like Coachella vs Primavera LA is AEG vs Live Nation/Primavera so, can't see that going over well.
Flights everywhere are hella cheap. My pal just booked a trip to Mexico in May for cheap as hell. I bought tix for a destination in July for basically nothing lol.
Bullshit. It was downgraded because of poor sales unrelated to the coronavirus. It's just an easy copout without it being embarrassing to him and his team. The real reason it's selling like shit is because no one gives a fuck. His album sales are projecting to be not that great as well.
Trash Vegans and Trash Vegetarians (the ones who like, only eat ketchup and fake chicken nuggets and bread and garbage) bug me so much. I lived with one who never ate a fucking vegetable or fruit in her life.
I don't even care about the hair extensions, a lot of people have them sometimes just to add volume. What bothers me is the stupid ponytail. I HATE IT.
Delete Forever is the song I can't get down with. Despite that I dislike her as a person, I do, for the most part, like her music and her production. If everything sounded more like Violence (a pop bop) I'd be into it. Delete Forever sounds like some Eagle Eye Cherry shit to me haha.
Hahaha whoops. I made this same comment before I saw yours below. YES! It was super nice and Butch Vig produced it. It's not like he made it on his 10-year-old Mac on GarageBand.
This is like when they made Wasting Light and Dave Grohl was like, "We recorded it in my garage!"... yeah with like, hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment and Butch Vig. Da fuck out of here lol.
I went to their Webster Hall "album release" show and it was incredible. I've seen them a few times and they're always been great but that Webster show was fantastic.
i remember once reading an interview with trent reznor and he called the sunday night headline spot of a festival "the red hot chili peppers slot" so this lineup makes me lol.
