Television might have a new album coming out! I'm asking around online right now for updates about it, no responses yet though...
Hooch, Cast Away in Seattle, Versus the Big Volcano (also starring Tom Hanks)
is it gonna be released in.. 2012?
Jack Black in: Tenacious Nacho Panda, Year One: Fart Two
this accident is sad, but most of those comments so far are tragic(ally mean-spirited and terrible toward someone who's music they presumably like at least parts of who just got into a bus crash) I'm just glad everyone's gonna be ok
I agree w/ all of those, but I'm really really surprised Sufjan isn't on here.. it certainly fits the requirements...
No Courtney Love love?! just kidding, that album is never gonna come out..
short answer: they were both dissed and my comment probably didn't make a lot of sense longer answer: Radiohead were the ones he attempted to diss at first, but at the end of the statement he included "Matt would have much preferred to insult Beck but he is too afraid of Scientologists", so then Beck fired back with this song.. but, yeah, I did sort of misphrase that, I meant, have Arcade Fire at the end of the "would have much preferred to insult" end of the diss..
This is definitely the new BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME OF A DISS (for 2009, at least).. more people need to make disses using the "yeah, you would make that pretentious song, oh wait you didn't? well, at least ______ didn't" formula. I hope someone makes one at Arcade Fire.. I really wanna hear a new song by them
I hate spreading negativity, but your last two sentences in your previous post on here made me throw up in my mouth a bit. "It's not the musical main course. It's the dessert."? Really? I hope you're joking... I was going to ignore it, but yeah... His music is neither "winsome" nor "whimsical", I mean, I'm glad for the people who do enjoy his music as it does seem to be, if nothing else, harmless, although entirely unlistenable, but there is a major difference between whimsy and artificial happiness made to impress Radio Disney's primary listening demographic. also, "so many genres?" I only hear electronica
calling this dude a Postal Service rip-off is giving him WAY WAY WAY more credit than he deserves... sure, he IS ripping them off, but rip-offs of something good are often listenable and Postal Service actually make music I love, but this doesn't even deserve to be described as a rip-off. This song is the aural equivalent of the Octomom, Balloon Boy, or Jon and Kate Plus 8, I really genuinely don't care and just want it to go away
more like 500 Days of Bummer!
