To be honest, I hated Not the Actual Events when it came out. Last week I finally got around to listening to Add Violence and hated that too.
Immediately after finishing EP2, I went back and listened to EP1 and LOVED IT. I wonder if I will love EP2 after listening to EP3.
I only ever liked Hybrid Theory and stopped listening to that years ago but damn is that Jay Z mashup album Collision Course an f'ing masterpiece. Guess I will bust that out later. RIP
As much as I don't like Noel Gallagher, I am going to mildly defend him on this one. He is not the most overrated songwriter in the whole history of pop music.
That honor goes to Jimmy Buffet.
Detroit news station is claiming it was an apparent suicide. That bums me out even more.

When I hear "World Tour", I expect more than 22 shows in 12 countries dragged on through 5 months. Guess I am just bitter they are not coming anywhere near me.
In case anyone was having the same troubles as me, I figured out how to fix this if you are viewing this on an Android phone or tablet.
In a separate browser tab, go to soundcloud.com. Once there, open the menu settings in Chrome. Place a checkmark next to Request desktop site. This should cause the site to refresh. Go back to the tab with this article in it and refresh it. It should work now.
Just got through the stream of the album. Even with the questionable sound quality of Pandora you can still tell this one hell of an album. I cannot believe it has been 17 years since Shape of Punk to Come.
The simplicity of Ben Folds solo songs is really starting to annoy me. The first solo album was pretty darn good, but it has been diminishing returns ever since. I never realized how much Robert and Darren brought to the table until he left them for a while.
The link in the story refers to another Stereogum article. This has happened more than once lately and it is getting annoying. Here is the link to the interview.

"Someone was even yelling out in the crowd the other night, 'Play that Pink Floyd Beatles song!'"
That someone was their tour manager. Most people going to see them now only want them to play Fantastic Planet in its entirety anyway.
I was perfectly happy with the photos and clips over the song so much so that I rewatched it this morning. Admittedly, I am not the biggest Foo Fighters fan, though I do enjoy them.
No Foo Fighters? I am sort of shocked because I thought that was one his favorite modern bands. Didn't they have something like a week residency after he came back from his bypass?
RSD for sure. I read everything on the list and felt "meh" about it. Looks like mowing the lawn will be a better use of my Saturday morning than this garbage.
