So fall is looking better and better for me in terms of concerts. Already got tickets to see Angel Olsen, Sleater-Kinney and Shura, but today I managed to snag a XCX ticket. I missed two chances already to see her, once at Governor's Ball in 2017 (Charles Bradley was performing at the same time and it was pretty obvious that he was going to die before I had another chance, so I saw him instead). Second time was Gov's Ball 2019, who fucking canceled her. Let's hope I get to see her this time Your Pal, Marijuana.

It didn't help that the few that acknowledged its existence hyped it up as the best album ever when it was just a very good album that would have been put on the 30s-20s area of most best of lists if people heard it. So the hype kind of killed the love it deserved Your Pal, Marijuana.

What media have you digested You're the Worst Season 5- So this is it. One of the best shows I've ever seen has ended and it sticks the fucking landing except for just one thread that felt like it didn't belong. But considering the whole deal, one thread is easy to look over. I absolutely adore this show, its look at depression, PSTD, how parents can fuck up their kids, the lampooning of hipster culture etc. And my god, if Aya Cash doesn't have a long and successful career after this, then its all the proof I need that god does not exist. So if you haven't watched YtW yet, give it a try and stick with it. Trust me when I say, despite some bumps, its worth the journey is worth it. Bayonetta 2- I got to eat god. Your Pal, Marijuana.

Syndicate is.... fine. I liked the dynamic between the siblings, free running is at its best, and Wintory's soundtrack, while his weakest work yet, is still pretty good. Everything else though.... eh. I would have just skipped to Origins or Odyssey. Then my work here is done Your Pal, Marijuana.

What other media have you digested Shrill (the Hulu Series)- The hatred for Dan Savage is strong in this one. Shape of Water- I'm annoyed that we never found out if the fishman's dick glows. Limitless- amazing how creative editing and directing can make even a procedural great. Brooklyn 99- Its basically to cops what Parks and Rec was to government workers, minus the interviews.
