So great, just as heart-stopping as her Stand By Me cover. She actually played that song at Letterman's request on his last run of shows, not to promote her Greatest Hits, though that performance ended up on the record as a bonus track.

I never thought this song needed a xylophone but this is interesting just the same. I still like the looser studio version from Archives v.1 better -

I just happened to listen to it on the weekend. The first minute or so was laughably goofy and dated, the last minute absolutely glorious. The rest was (figuratively and literally) somewhere in between.
Not well known but like Ryan said very influential (you just know Reznor's a fan). Here's probably their most accessible / popular song - the crane shot off the top blew my young mind back in the day -

Elvis Costello once said this was the greatest song ever written about divorce (Marvin Gaye wins that one in my book) but I'm guessing Costello's also MOR bullshit in your book

Whatever Blochead’s listening to in the picture above. He looks like he’s enjoying it so much he might actually attempt standing (not in the shower of course).
Judith Hill’s a great singer, Seeing her name makes me a bit sad though, Prince produced her first album and they were a couple right up until he died. One of the more talented artists he worked with for sure.
He got the crowd to sing along to lyrics that say the coronavirus is a liberal hoax AND that their opponents should be injected with it, classic Sascha Baron Cohen.

Or Frankie Cosmos. I was in line outside a store today sweating in my mask (I still haven't gotten used to this, has anyone?) when someone passed by wearing a Frankie Cosmos shirt. Gave them a thumbs up and got one back, made me very happy.
“It is very different” and “a whole new style” type statements from an artist are usually about as accurate as my cousin’s boyfriend telling me last week that he likes “all kinds of music”, by which he meant all kinds of folk rock and literally nothing else.
