Respect motherfucking Daft.
He took one look at that 14 day quarantine and decided he'd just go with a stripped-back, no frills, minimalist 1 day quarantine.
Great song, Califone covered it as a way to overcome writer's block or something, love their version - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e1jgqX0Y8g
They should go all-in on the concept, would love to hear North Uplands Scum, All My Mates and Daft Punk Are Playing at My Flat.
So great, just as heart-stopping as her Stand By Me cover. She actually played that song at Letterman's request on his last run of shows, not to promote her Greatest Hits, though that performance ended up on the record as a bonus track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XL6C3vY0jM
I never thought this song needed a xylophone but this is interesting just the same. I still like the looser studio version from Archives v.1 better - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HAeVBabWGo
You joke but just think about how hard quarantine's going to be for all those lonely goatherds.
I just happened to listen to it on the weekend. The first minute or so was laughably goofy and dated, the last minute absolutely glorious. The rest was (figuratively and literally) somewhere in between.
Doesn’t need drums, I’m going to guess you didn’t listen past the first 2 minutes.
At first I read “if he hadn’t tragically died just days after its release” as “strategically died”, which somehow doesn’t seem entirely impossible.
Hmm not bad, would've preferred an 00's cover in support of this website though.

Sure hope this movie has a decent sound mix, I've watched Lost In Translation over and over and still can't make out what he says to her at the end :(
Not well known but like Ryan said very influential (you just know Reznor's a fan). Here's probably their most accessible / popular song - the crane shot off the top blew my young mind back in the day - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2vCpT1H7u0

Yes but she probably would’ve written it quicker if she was a man.

Way better than Man Of The Woods.
Elvis Costello once said this was the greatest song ever written about divorce (Marvin Gaye wins that one in my book) but I'm guessing Costello's also MOR bullshit in your book https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP9HS_VpjCc
It’s often better than instant gratification, just sayin
Whatever Blochead’s listening to in the picture above. He looks like he’s enjoying it so much he might actually attempt standing (not in the shower of course).
Judith Hill’s a great singer, Seeing her name makes me a bit sad though, Prince produced her first album and they were a couple right up until he died. One of the more talented artists he worked with for sure.
Add some eyebrows doing push-ups and you've nailed it.
He got the crowd to sing along to lyrics that say the coronavirus is a liberal hoax AND that their opponents should be injected with it, classic Sascha Baron Cohen.
“This comment is hidden as it has many downvotes. Click here to show it”. It would be fun to watch people try to click on it to see what was so offensive but then nothing would happen.
One of their original members was literally named PigPen. “Small batches” seems like a wise move.
Or Frankie Cosmos. I was in line outside a store today sweating in my mask (I still haven't gotten used to this, has anyone?) when someone passed by wearing a Frankie Cosmos shirt. Gave them a thumbs up and got one back, made me very happy.
For long, jammy and not at all gentle, you should try Ragged Glory. There’s a great electric version of Homegrown’s White Line on there too.
Works on my laptop but not on mobile

“It is very different” and “a whole new style” type statements from an artist are usually about as accurate as my cousin’s boyfriend telling me last week that he likes “all kinds of music”, by which he meant all kinds of folk rock and literally nothing else.

I suddenly find myself wondering about the possibilities of Flock of Seagulls + quarantine hair.
