It was pretty hilarious how the whole internet got so worked up about an EP that doesn't even exist. Still, the first thing I did when I got on my computer this morning was see if Wall of Ice was available.
I lost my shit to Thunder Lightning Strike, but not so much the seond one. Anyhow, I didn't even know they were working on a new one...Something to look forward to.
Here we got 2 of the funnest bands, playing music today, together at last. I think we all knew it happen eventually and here it is. Now this is going to be a sick tour.

I have always enjoyed this band. I think they are just an easy target for Stereogum readers to hate on b/c of their retarded interview. They play simple, rocking, noisy pop tunes. I dig their music. Just b/c you wouldn't want to hang out with them, doesn't mean their music sucks.
I would totally want to hang w/ this bro. In the day tripping vid, he's just always going round, drinkin lots of brew, gettin free shit. Then at Primavera, he is just drinkin all the brews and takin all the good pills...definitely want to hang with this bro, but i wouldn't want to him perform that fucked up...obviously
I live in Little Five Points. Stick to popolated areas when walking around and use a taxi at night. I love Little five, east atlanta and areas like it, but the problem with atlanta is that each nice neighborhood is adjacent to a shady one. The area that Jeff Ament got mugged is really not an area that I would think would be like that, but then again, see my previous sentence. All that said, I love Atlanta, I think it's the best, check out Little Five Points and East Atlanta Village, living within a 2 mile radius / walking distance to all shows is great, and I'm not moving until I'm old.
It's a very unnecessary list, but at least it's a list of some really good albums. And I love seeing Deerhunter on somebody's favorites list besides my own.
