This is Arcade Fire at the Grammys all over again, Lol, why do people react so strongly to someone performing on a TV show? Calm down, Twitter-shouters.
I disagree, while I think the songs are a bit boring, the snl sound sucked the heaviness of the bass and drums of the songs and basically sapped the whole thing. Also, the energy wasn't too great either.
It's also a common phrase, essentially meaning hypocrite, which would be were the Wilco song name came from.

Chokehold on the band? He can't have a chokehold on himself.... or well I guess he could but I don't know why Billy would do that! That would make playing his jams difficult!
That is such a horrible song, and is one the many reasons I'm really getting sick of Pharrell's hold on pop music. And what is Johnny Marr doing there? He has no presence on this track and is clearly there for the value of his name.
Jeff Tweedy plays a member legendary pawnee band "Land Ho!" and Andy convinces them to reunite. Andy was in the band "Mouse-Rat" who also reunite during the episode.
The facebook post said "Amazing", is this a sponsored article or something? I can't wait to never hear Pharrell sing again. Wow that was bad. Holy shit. This period of Pharrell Williams over-saturation needs to end, I can honestly say I strongly dislike him and find him super fucking annoying.
This is a shitty cover, not tender in any way, the vocals are boring and flat, devoid of all the passion Corgan sang them with himself. Also it sound like it was recorded into garageband via the built in mic on a mac.
