I am touched that you think I can write that quickly. But no, when I want to further my agenda I write stuff like this: https://twitter.com/tombreihan/status/1164898204309250048

choosing the right getty image is an art.
"The writer of this column has a HUGE disdain for all music which is considered 'pure and simple'. He likes his music dirty, low, and if possible, crass." 1000% true.

For years I thought he said "Beachies" and that this was a nickname for the Beach Boys because of the "I Get Around" sequence. I'm a 79 baby, too, and I didn't have the slightest clue who the Bee Gees were until I heard "Stayin' Alive" in Airplane. Part of that is because my parents are not music people at all, but it's crazy how they went from dominant pop force to completely disappearing from pop culture.
Also, to the best of my knowledge, Chvchres never soundtracked a scene where Vin Diesel snowboards down a mountain and triggers an avalanche that destroys a Eurotrash terrorist's lair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MDAsm7APJA
This isn't part of the conversation here, but Hatebreed are a better live band than Chvrches.

You are right that I am not going to do this, but "Somewhere Out There" is the shit.

I don't know why my pool is like this but I'm glad it is.
can't nobody tell me nothing
"dumb" is not a pejorative when it comes to rock music.
what a strange convergence of future #1s artists
