there's no prayer for this dying song.
sounds like he and Mark Kozelek should get together and go bowling...
Gish is amazing, but still kind of rough around the edges. Siamese Dream is an absolutely perfect album from top to bottom, for any band in any genre.
as another 42 year-old, '83 was the year ZZ Top went full on synth and Spandau Ballet spawned PM Dawn. so, let's not get too crazy here.
maybe your hearing's not so good.
boo this man.
this article has me all shook up. i don't know what to do.
Not..even...close... BUD.
fair warning: that awkward, creepy hug at 5:25 can't be unseen.
great, thanks. also is feline AIDS the number one killer of domestic cats?
there has never been a reason to have this much hate towards REO Speedwagon, and i'm old enough to have lived through them. i suggest moderate breathing exercises and some relaxing 80s soft rock to get you through this. i think i have a band in mind...
I might Blow Out My Iron Lung Just thinking about how a lot of older material was left High And Dry. Stop Whispering about the older stuff, because even though you believe in your Bones that Anyone can Play Guitar, they can and actually used to on their albums. I'll now go Sulk in the corner at the Maquiladora where I work, since this is killing my Street Spirit and I should probably (Fade Out).
people just talk louder. it doesn't work like that.
i really think having read 1984 before the age of 22 should be a prerequisite for commenting on things involving 1984.
i will only buy this if Paula Abdul writes a letter to MC Skat Kat.
so this is boring because you have a short attention span, and is reminiscent of Marilyn Manson because... he's in the video. this is timeless insight. thank you.
i am against the concepts of both brunch and Julian Casablancas.
all he's trying to say is that she owes everything to Jellybean Benitez. that's not misogynistic. oh wait...
good to know they're still terrible. and not punk.
did motley crue play their hits? i bet they did.
who the f*ck moshes to the war on drugs? oh philly, that's right...
i was totally thinking Academy Fight Song as well.
JMC, 1,000% of the time. i love the Pixies's version, but they're almost two different songs. great, now i have to pop a beer and blare Automatic. thanks blochead, i had better things to do with my evening.
why don't people does this to Deafheaven shows?
i cannot live without this album. also, i am officially old.

sometimes small bars have small areas where bands play in them. in more populated areas, such as cities, they have lots of them. sometimes there are bigger places that happen to have bars but lots of room for people to watch the band. these are called "venues". you're welcome.
this explains why his music has always left a bitter taste in my mouth.
this inspired me, let's make this happen: welcome to the bakery, we got cakes and buns we got everything i want, i'll gain 500 tons we are the people that you find, insulin we'll need if you got the honey, money, we got your disease

no self-respecting National fan likes the new album. you either have incredibly low standards, or are wholly unfamiliar with all of their work. they are capable of far better, and i cannot comprehend how it can be mentioned in year-end album lists.
it is by far the worst National album. sorry.
