I'm right there with you man.
The concept shows a lot promise, people who've grown to hate each other on past challenges being teamed up sound appealing, though in most cases it just seems more like they had a hostile incident and now they have to pretend they despise each other.
I just hope there's at least one point in the season where CT carries Adams on his back like a knapsack.
To be fair, the other guy did get in the car with him willingly, not to mention he let him drive in the state in the state he was in so I'm willing to say he was as responsible as Dunn for his demise.
I sort of agree with him. In the arena of stand up comedy, the line separating right and wrong seems to be conveniently located right by the line that determines the humorous and not. If a rape joke is presented in a way that makes us laugh (like Louis CK's, for example), no one says a word about how it's in poor taste or how it's needlessly edgy. But if that joke was presented poorly, the comedian is socially vilified and is the scum of the earth.
I also understand the call to own up to the things you say. With the (remorseful?) damage control Tracy Morgan has been executing, I'm guessing he does too. But I can see how a comedian's moral compass can go out of whack from the fact that people will let horrible statements go as long as they find them entertaining.
Rachel McAdams is like that girl in high school who has stuck you in the friend zone. You put up with all this crap just so you can enjoy her company and the faint chance that she'll value yours. But she's married to Ryan Gosling and that has pretty much ruined the fantasy for everyone.
If you've asked me what I was missing today, I would have said some news about Carey Mulligan and something with Werner Herzog in it, and now here it is! Great feature and great job so far, Kelly!
I liked this movie. I enjoyed Fanning and Dorf's portrayal of catch-up father-daughter relationship and the musical bits like the strippers dancing to "One Thing" in his room and Fanning ice skating to Gwen Stefani's "Cool." I could understand how someone can get bored with it. Fanning and Dorf's character relationship doesn't really jump out of the screen and the few supporting characters outside Pontius are so-so.
But that Lost In Translation comment just made me go, "Welp, I need to take a walk."
