Though his best-known band Portishead got the rightful shine at last year’s ATP NJ, Geoff Barrow’s other outfit — or maybe other other outfit, depending on how you look at it — showcased a lean, vibrant krautrock groove with a thick low end. And, luckily enough, much of that is apparent on Beak>’s new one, the surging “Yatton.” Hear it below.
The follow-up to 2009′s Beak>, >>, is out 6/13 digitally and 7/3 physically via Invada.
