The Coup - "Sorry To Bother You"

Boots Riley is a national treasure, someone who’s spend the past couple of decades splitting his time between local Oakland activism and leading the great humanist, politicized funk-rap crew the Coup. On the new Coup track “WAVIP,” Riley shares space with two other acts who talk a lot of political shit in some very, very different ways: Killer Mike and Das Racist. It’s as much of a party-rap anthem as these guys are likely to make together. Hear it below.

  2. Hard funk, love it! The Coup are so underrated & been around forever. Boots is a genuinely nice guy too. Can’t wait for this album! Love Das Racist too, great collab.
