Depeche Mode

We’ve heard the song and seen the video, and now here’s footage of British new wave pioneers Depeche Mode playing their slow and portentous new single “Heaven” live in studio. For what you’d have to call a studio band, Depeche Mode have long been pretty great at projecting a certain gravity live, and they get credit for treating a cramped studio like a packed arena. Watch it below.

  1. The very first concert I went to was Depeche Mode’s Violator tour at Dodger Stadium in 1990. Dave Gahan is still the sexiest man alive 23 years later. His baritone voice is still perfect. ::swoon::

  2. This is the perfect time for Depeche Mode to come back.. Alternative music oozes 80s. This song rules though. Looking forward to the album.

  4. Sorry, but its not a come back. Depeche Mode has never been away…this is the typical time frame for DM to put another album out.
