Kings Of Leon - Mechanical Bull

The first single to be released off Kings Of Leon’s forthcoming Mechanical Bull, “Supersoaker,” saw the Followill brothers returning to their harder-edged rock roots. Its follow-up is a pretty straightforward power ballad that seems scientifically engineered to spend a few weeks at No. 1. It kinda reminds me of those songs that made Candlebox famous back in the early ’90s, if you want my honest opinion, although that bridge is pretty damn tight just the same. Check it out.

Mechanical Bull is out 9/24 via RCA.

  1. don’t care what you say, i really like this one

  2. Alright, so between this and “Supersoaker” could we all just fall back into KoL’s rugged, Southern arms? I can barely even remember what we were fighting about in the first place.

  3. I’m glad my son hates this band

  4. Am I the only one who thinks the art for the “Supersoaker” single should be the main album art for “Mechanical Bull”?
