Frightened Rabbit - Late March Death March EP

Frightened Rabbit’s Pedestrian Verse is probably of 2013′s more unjustly overlooked albums. (At least in terms of critical reception; the band plays to ever-larger rooms with every tour.) I thought it was a triumph, for the most part; a few steps up from their last, 2010′s The Winter Of Mixed Drinks, containing several songs on par with their best from 2008′s career highlight The Midnight Organ Fight. In June, the Scottish band released a 5-song UK-only extended player behind Pedestrian Verse track “Late March, Death March,” and next month they’ll do the same for North American audiences, although the tracklist will be almost entirely different, including a few new songs, one of which — called “Radio Silence” — we’ve got for you to stream today. Give it a listen here; release details below.

Late March, Death March EP tracklist:

01 “Late March, Death March”
02 “Radio Silence”
03 “Candlelit”
04 “Default Blues”
05 “The Oil Slick (Live at Barrowlands)”

The Late March, Death March EP is out 9/10 and you can pre-order it here.

  1. Could not agree more: Pedestrian Verse is one of the year’s best.
“Holy” might be my song of the year. After that: it’s all metal
