Last week, M.I.A. shared a preview of the new song “Come Walk With Me,” one of the tracks from her forthcoming album Matangi, which finally looks like it’s going to get to come out. That preview made it sound like a breezy new-wave track, but the full song, which is now online, has a little bit more going on, like the thunderously jittery drums that kick in halfway through, or the tourettic burst of vocal samples that ends the track. And it still works as a breezy new-wave track. Listen to the full song below.

Mantangi, blessedly, 11/5 on Interscope.

  1. I was always told, if you don’t have anything nice to say…..

  2. I’m glad that it picks up tempo in the middle, otherwise it might risk being something few MIA songs are- boring.

  3. I take back my Kidz Bop comment from last week’s preview.

  4. Too happy

  5. I’d like to hear the Mike Will version.
