We are veering closer to the release of Uncanny Valley, the Dismemberment Plan’s first album since 2001′s Change. We’ve already heard “Waiting” and “Invisible” from the LP, but now we have “Daddy Was A Real Good Dancer,” which Chris, our resident D-Plan expert, and Scott agree is the best on the album.   1. This is definitely going to be a very “adult” album, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing from a bunch of dudes who are all around 40. Superb rhythm section work, but you expect that from these guys.

    • I consider Change to be a “mature” album too and over time it emerged as one of my favorite albums ever. I’m perfectly OK with albums that are bold enough to be for adults.
