Phantogram, the New York synth pop duo, share an honor with Erykah Badu of being the only artists to work with both Big Boi and The Flaming Lips. But despite those nice guest spots, we haven’t heard too much from them in a few years. Now we’ve gotten our hands on “Black Out Days,” which balances Sarah Barthel’s pained and beautiful vocals over a big, buzzing banger. No word yet on a release, but let’s hope there’s more to come soon.
