Tara Jane O’Neil’s music is always an exercise in intimacy. The former Rodan member is slated to release Where Shines New Light, her first solo album in nearly five years, in January and “Wordless In Woods,” our first look into the LP, beams with her signature quiet self-reflection. The track also touts her penchant for treating the guitar like a kaleidoscopic tool for building walls of calming, mysterious beauty.
