Ron Burgundy & Robin Thicke - "Ride Like The Wind" (Christopher Cross Cover)

Anchorman 2, the long awaited sequel to 2004′s Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, opens later this month. The soundtrack to the film will feature some ’70s classics — songs by Neil Diamond and Kenny Loggins … and this cover of Christopher Cross’ “Ride Like The Wind,” as sung by Robin Thicke and Ron Burgundy (bka Will Ferrell). Thicke takes the reins on this one, and doesn’t stray much from the original vocal styling. Ron Burgundy joins in, mostly to righteously spout some wildly inappropriate jokes and innuendos that we have been waiting to hear again for nearly a decade. Listen below.

The Anchorman 2 Soundtrack is out 12/17 via Republic.

  1. You heard it here first: this movie is going to suck. You can tell it’s going to suck b/c they are going so large on the promo’ing. Gonna be a repeat, or reflection if you will, of Reflektor.

Of course everyone will “love it”. Say it’s “hilarious”.
