Hospitality - Trouble

The Brooklyn indie-pop three-piece Hospitality, a Band To Watch way the hell back in 2009, are on the verge of releasing their new album Trouble, and first single “I Miss Your Bones” was a sunny, rickety blast of fun. But “Rockets And Jets,” the second song the band has shared, is another story. It’s a midtempo flutter with some Nico in its vocals and some dream-pop in its glitter. There’s nothing twee about it. Listen below.

Trouble is out 1/28 on Merge.

  1. Wow, this is very different, but “I Miss Your Bones” didn’t sound at all like it could fit on their first record either. Whatever the case, I like it.

  2. I’m actually really impressed with this. It kinda reminds me of Rilo Kiley’s- Dreamworld
