The Syracuse, New York punk band Perfect Pussy — maybe the most important punk band to come out of that burg since Earth Crisis, or at least Spark Lights The Friction — made some serious noise last year with their rickety, home-recorded debut EP I Have Lost All Desire For Feeling. They’ve now signed to an actual label (New York indie Captured Tracks) and announced plans for their debut album Say Yes To Love. First single “Driver” cleans up the chaotic sound of their EP just a touch but keeps the sense of headlong momentum intact. Listen to it and check out the album’s tracklist below.

Say Yes To Love is out 3/18 on Captured Tracks. The song title “Advance Upon The Real” suggests to me that at least some of the band has spent time in the same Syracuse University English & Textual Studies department where I honed my bullshitting skills.
