If you thought the Yeezus talk might finally be dying out … you thought wrong. The newest incarnation of Yeezus will be a film of the same name, directed by Hype Williams. There was a trailer released in February, but since then, things have been quiet and mysterious on the Yeezus front. That was, until this morning when Mazdack Rassi, creative director at Milk Studios (rumored to be working on the project) Instagrammed this:

It’s fuzzy, but it’s definitely a picture of the poster for the upcoming film. The American Psycho influences are pretty clear, and it makes sense, given Kanye’s American Psycho-style promo video from last June, and the fact that Bret Easton Ellis, author of American Psycho the novel, actually wrote the Yeezus film. Check out the trailer below, and get ready for Yeezus to come to a theater near you.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone take the “a film by” credit without having actually directed the film

  2. “Alfred Sergie” doesn’t give you any results in Google, but it does point to an Alfred Hitchcock painting by Sergei Vishinsky. Also notice that the Hitchcock credit reference comes out again in “Nathan John Brown Hitchcock.” There’s also the “More Random Names” credit and the un-Google-able “William Wolfgang” credit, but it makes me wonder if Tyler, the Creator might somehow be involved, since ‘Ye tends to be a fan of his music videos.

  3. Someone should clean up all that ketchup. Moms gonna be PISSED!

  4. I think this might be fan-art

  5. ‘Content unavailable.’ Shit, that is META.

  6. American Psycho rip
