2009 All Points West Music & Arts Festival - Day 2 - Show

My Bloody Valentine plan to record a new EP this fall. Explains Kevin Shields in a new NME report, the band will hit the studio in October or November to record songs that have been in the works since last year. Note that he didn’t mention any prospective release dates. Considering it took the cataclysmically influential shoegaze titans 21 years to release their follow-up to Loveless, we probably can’t realistically expect to hear this EP before the end of this decade. That said, m b v was so good that anything else they release will almost certainly be worth the wait.

Chris nailed it on the head. But I’ll squeeze one more in:

This will be my bloody valentine’s first new EP in 30 years!

We will never get a proper reissue of Loveless at this rate.
