New York vibe-creators Woods released With Light And With Love, the latest in a long line of satisfying campfire-rock albums, earlier this year, and they’re following it up next month with a new 7″ single that features two non-album tracks. We already posted one of those tracks, the starry-eyed “Tambourine Light.” And now we get to hear the other. “Tomorrow’s Only Yesterday” is a fine piece of urgently jangly psych-rock, a song that would’ve fit beautifully into the middle of side B on a mid-’60s Byrds album. “Tambourine Light” b/w “Tomorrow’s Only Yesterday” is out 7/8 on Captured Tracks.

  1. I spaced out on all their albums between Echo Lake and With Light and With Love. Really happy to find they’ve got quite a few albums out for me to check out. Should have one arriving in the mail today!
