Watch Jonny Greenwood Debut New Song “Skip Loop”

Videos from Jonny Greenwood’s recent orchestral performances have been gradually leaking out of late, some of which contain music from Greenwood’s score for Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming film, Inherent Vice, based on the novel by Thomas Pynchon. We recently saw a clip for a piece titled “Loop,” and now you can watch one for “Skip Loop,” which is much slower and more droning than its predecessor. Between rumors of a new Radiohead album, anticipation for a new Paul Thomas Anderson film, and the fact that Inherent Vice marks the first time anyone has been crazy/brave enough to adapt one of Pynchon’s novels in the writer’s 50+ years of popularity, the second half of this year is a perfect storm of W.A.S.T.E.-related excitement. Watch the gentle performance below.

Radiohead are due to release a new album someday … probably.
