Run The Jewels Attacked Onstage At SXSW

During a performance at South By Southwest’s Spotify House on Monday, Run The Jewels were attacked by someone from the audience. In video taken at the event, it looks like the person in question walks up onto the stage and attempts to punch one of them, but is intercepted and chased off the stage by Killer Mike, El-P, and their security team. Another video shows the same man fighting in the crowd with security guards after rushing the stage. The two rappers weren’t happy with the interruption, and Killer Mike started a “fuck boy” chant directed at the attacker after the incident. El-P aplogized for the “brief interruption” on Twitter later in the day. Here’s the video from the event:
