Just a few months after releasing his power-poppy new album What For?, Toro Y Moi’s Chaz Bundick starting putting a whole bunch of loose tracks up on SoundCloud, which then became a part of his surprise mixtape Samantha in August. Now he’s back in SoundCloud dump mode: As Noisey points out, he uploaded four more hip-hop infused tracks last night, all hashtagged #rare. “3 – 4-12b” and “4- 5-12b” were previously released as part of the single “Lyin (Pt. 1-4)” on a 2013 split 7″ with Dog Bite, and although the SoundCloud description for “Couplegirls” claims it’s also from the same 7″, as far as I can tell it isn’t. “2 – 1-12b” appears to be previously unreleased.
