Watch Linkin Park Perform With Chester Bennington For The Last Time

We’re still struggling to come to grips with the fact that Chester Bennington is no longer with us. The Linkin Park vocalist spent the better part of the past two decades pouring himself into his lyrics and performing with his massively successful rock band. With his apparent suicide, those lyrics hit even harder.

Linkin Park was scheduled to continue touring later this month behind 2017’s One More Light, which had produced the top 40 hit “Heavy,” the latest in a long, long line of popular singles for the band. Prior to a line of One More Light World Tour dates (which were set to begin 7/27), Linkin Park played what will go down as its last concert with Bennington on 7/6 at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England. Below, find video of the last two songs from that performance: Hybrid Theory opener “Papercut” and, finally, “Bleed It Out,” the second single from 2007’s Minutes To Midnight.

It’s a fan-shot video from the stageside pit, capturing Bennington in his element. He breaks the song down and ventures as close to the crowd as possible without jumping in, leading the fans through a soccer stadium-style shout-along to the final refrain of “Bleed It Out.” Once it’s all over, he’s the last band member to leave the stage, raising his arms, acknowledging all the applause.

RIP Chester.
