Vivian Girls’ Katy Goodman, aka Kickball Katy, and Cat Power keyboardist/guitarist/ex-Delta 72 dude Gregg Foreman have a new project, All Saints Day. The first available track “I’ll Come Around” sounds like Vivian Girls washing up (or Washed Out) on the beach, i.e. it’s warmer and more synthesized than Goodman’s other band. There’s also something MBV, or maybe Swirlies, about the drum patterns whenever the backdrop swells with the chorus.
