Jack White recently scored his first-ever number one album, and he’s got a ton of festival gigs coming up, but neither of these things are going to keep him away from his true passion: Making goofy limited-edition curios! Tonight and tomorrow, White is playing the historic Ryman Auditorium in his adapted hometown of Nashville. And to celebrate the gig, he’s making an incredibly limited number (75, to be exact) of “triple decker posters” — posters with picture of birds which, when piled on top of each other, come to look like White’s profile — or, anyway, White’s profile if he happened to be wearing a gigantic bird-shaped hat. At the Third Man website, you can virtually drag images of the posters on top of each other to see how it would look. And below, check out a video of the posters in production.
