When you think of the Field, the project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Axel Willner, you think repetition. The man’s last album was called Looping State Of Mind. And “Cupid’s Head,” the title track from the Field’s upcoming LP, delivers on that expectation; it will definitely put you in a looping state of mind. Other than some slight textural buildup, it’s basically six and a half minutes of the same celestial sample drilling itself into your consciousness until all you know is Field.
