The Bones Of What You Believe, the emotively wide-open debut from the Glasgow synthpop trio Chrvcrhes, was one of this fall’s most immediately likable albums. Director Sing J. Lee’s video for “Lies,” one of the album’s catchiest songs, has some vague story that involves virtual reality and illusory promises of love.
