Lately, in his UNDER THE CVRS video series, Twin Shadow main man George Lewis, Jr. has been recording moody black-and-white versions of classic songs by 10cc, Bruce Springsteen, Tori Amos, and Lou Reed. And in his latest clip, Lewis has taken on a big one: U2’s lighters-up feelings-everywhere ballad “With Or Without You.” The Twin Shadow version of the song is a clicky, synthy one, but it doesn’t skimp on the emotional sweep. Ross and Rachel could totally conflictedly pine for each other while staring out rainy windows while this one is playing. Watch it below.

If Lewis is collecting these covers for eventual release, we could be looking at the beginnings of a very good all-covers album here.
