Earlier this year, rap-rave producer araabMUZIK was shot in an attempted robbery. It’s a horrible thing, and might be the explanation as to why we haven’t heard too much from him compared to previous years. He recently dropped a new one, titled “Blackout.” It’s a tough track that chops up vocal cheers and drum snaps over a pretty chiming melody that could have soundtracked one of John Carpenter’s horror movies. Honestly it’s a relief that we’re still getting music by him, and this track is a nice and steady return. It doesn’t bang hard, but it bangs enough. Listen below.
