Here’s how the Portland-via-New Zealand indie trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra spent their Christmas: Posting a mysterious new 22-minute mostly-ambient instrumental called “SB-01″ to their Bandcamp page. We don’t know much about this one: Whether it announces a bold new direction for the band, whether the title implies that there will be future “SB” tracks, whether the band was just fucking around and trying to avoid family members over the holiday season. We do, however, know that you can hear the track below.
