The dance production duo Teengirl Fantasy just released their Nun EP a few months ago, but they’re already back with a new track. “TonBase” is an orphan — it appears to have no home on any forthcoming albums, at least as far as we know — but it’s an intriguing one-off. The wriggling instrumental splits the difference between minimal bass music and adventurous free jazz, its aqueous synth blips working from their own melodic sense of logic and its percussion programming just going nuts.
