Right now most people will recognize Chastity Belt’s Julia Shapiro from her other band, Childbirth, who recently released their debut album and its great single “I Only Fucked You As A Joke.” As awesome as that band is, hearing Shapiro’s work in Chastity Belt (who just announced they’ll be part of Sasquatch! Festival’s incredible lineup) gives you an idea just how dynamic a performer she is. The video for “Full” shows a very different side of Shapiro. Directed by Shaun Libman and shot in exquisite black and white by Eleanor Petry, it’s a pleasure to see and hear. Watch it below.
