After nearly six years without a new LP, the Faint charged back last month with a heavy, insistent single. Now there’s a new one that goes even harder. “Salt My Doom” is two minutes of non-stop attack. Vocals are shouted, drums pound, the synths thrash like crazy and the second you think they might slow down it’s just a fake-out for them to push everything more.
