Have you ever listened to Randy Newman’s classic Toy Story theme song “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” and thought, “Yeah, it’s nice, but put this on in the club and everyone will clear out?” It’s an issue that Disney must have been concerned with as well, as they’ve now announced a compilation that aims to take the songs that moved your childhood heart and remix them to make you shake your adult ass. Many popular EDM producers have teamed with Disney to remix their songs for DConstructed which includes remixes of songs like the Oscar winning “Let It Go” from Frozen by Armin Van Buuren, Avicii’s remix of “Derezzed” from Tron Legacy, and a KASKADE-reworked house version of “Baby Mine” from Dumbo. And yes, Newman’s Oscar-nominated classic is on here via Alfred Montejano’s “Hyper Remix.” Randy Newman has a “hyper remix.” Watch the trailer below.
