The Whitest Boy Alive Break Up

The Whitest Boy Alive Break Up

The Whitest Boy Alive, the German and Norwegian quartet headed up by Kings Of Convenience member Erlend Øye, is no more. The band issued a statement over email explaining their demise. It’s pretty short and sweet, the key line being: “The Rules we made for ourself became a Golden Cage.” Very poetic, Whitest Boy Alive! And very unnecessary capitalization! In any case, here’s the full statement complete with all their shout-outs.
